Warm conditions and strong sunshine between showers will feature across Panama on Tuesday, October 27, according to the Instituto de Meteorología e Hidrología de Panamá (IMHPA).

The daily forecast, issued at 12:27 a.m. by Roberto Rudy Martínez, places maximum temperatures at 30–33°C on the Pacific slope and 28–32°C on the Caribbean side.

Caribbean morning rain is expected particularly in eastern Guna Yala, Colón’s Costa Abajo and northern Veraguas. Afternoon downpours should be more isolated, favouring mountainous areas of Bocas del Toro, Ngäbe-Buglé and northern Veraguas.

On the Pacific side, morning rain could affect coastal Chiriquí, southern Veraguas, the Gulf of Panama and Darién, alongside northern Coclé and Panamá Oeste.

Brief afternoon downpours, occasional lightning and gusty winds are possible across several Pacific regions, including northern metropolitan Panama, Panamá Este and Darién. UV exposure could reach very high or extreme levels.

Separate official watches remain active. The wind watch runs through October 29, while the Pacific high-tide and wind watch continues through October 31.

The latter identifies possible coastal flooding where high tides coincide with rough seas and stronger winds. IMHPA advises particular caution for small boats, swimmers and residents of exposed coastal communities.
